Dead... ... Not yet.

It's been over 2 months since a new post last came out. Thought it would finally be dead, but not quite. Not that I'm wishing that it would be dead.

Over the last 2 months many things happened. Let's see.

1) Preparation for MSTs.

This really took a lot of time. I printed the past year papers, did them and stopped gaming. I can't believe I actually stayed in school until 9pm. The only time I stayed that late was waiting for Ben after Japanese lessons. I love the school when it's at night. The lightings, the cool environment and the wind up at the bridge in the business blocks. At night, the school's internet is fast like a year ago when I just entered. Now that we have the most intake for 10/11, the internet speed is worse than usual. It's a miracle if the speed can even hit 2 mbps at peak hours. At peak hours, the maximum would be from 0.7 to 1 mbps. Maybe I should start staying in school until late hours and leech off the internet and electricity that students paid for. I wonder if mug@moberly is opened. I haven't been there for over half a year already.

2) Mid-Semester examinations.

Everyone's all stressed up during the examination period. At the end of the exam, they would all discuss answers. Would it help if you know your answer is wrong? Wouldn't it dampen your spirits, making you more worried and stressed over how you fared. But, I can understand it, I compare answers too. However, no one really knows the right answer unless that question is really that easy. Come to think of it, SP is a "sure pass" institution. As long as you put in effort, you will pass.

3) Holidays (not really).

Finally, 2 weeks holiday off the busy schedule with lots of events in between. There was a field trip to Marina Barrage (no, not again...). I've been there for so many times, I probably could be the tour guide. Because it was finally holidays, everyone finally found a chance to relax. Someone actually brought a kite along for the field trip. The only thing missing is some snacks and drinks and voilà, you have yourself a picnic trip. Then, we had bbq at Dr. Thian's house again. I'm glad I got to be part of the organizing committee - you get to choose what food goes in, what food goes out.

4) YOG training.

Things are finally picking up during training. Now that YOG is approaching, we have to speed up the trainings. My friend told me that they have not even started their training. Which, kind of contradicts what I just said. Oh well, different section have different speed. And I thought the student facilitators should have more training since they're the first line of 'defense'. I've collected my accreditation pass, uniform and some other little things. Oh, they even gave a free prepaid debit card to go with, and the uniform are from Crocodile. If you go to the web, you'll see a YOG logo on the top right hand corner.

So during this YOG training, there were the translators who we will be working with. Seems like there are more French translators as the official language for YOG is English and French. There was this cute kid, and I'm disappointed in Jome :D
